HACCP System (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
Control method for food safety focused on the health safety issues of a food product. It identifies, evaluates and controls hazards which are significant for food safety.
BRC Global Standards, British Retail Consortium, guarantees the standardization of criteria in the food safety audits performed by distributors on theirs suppliers.

SMETA
Implemented in 2018
The purpose of this is to drive convergence in ethical trade/social auditing, based on and helping to shape best practice. The Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex) is a not-for-profit membership organisation for businesses committed to the continuous improvement of ethical performance within their supply chains.
SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) was created and is designed to reduce duplication of effort in ethical trade auditing, benefitting retailers, consumer brands, and their suppliers.
IFS Food applies to all the stages in the supply chain and ensures the suppliers’ food safety and quality control system.
