IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PROME 2015 - 2018
In July 2015, we joined the PROME, an improvement action plan for Argentine red shrimp with the main goal of obtaining the MSC certification for our fishery.
By developing an effective and adaptive management system for our activity, we achieved the essential principles of sustainability:

EXPERTISE AND AWARENESS

Our experience in the fishing industry guided us to Patagonia, where fish stocks benefit from a natural environment and have the necessary qualities to obtain a Premium, tasty and healthy product.

Aware that we develop this activity in a privileged region with its unspoiled sea bed and beautiful scenery, we undertake the mission of protecting this asset and ensuring its sustainability.

SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT

WE MANAGE OUR ACTIVITY IN STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS ON SUSTAINABLE FISHING, IN ORDER TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PRESERVATION OF THE REPRODUCTIVE CAPACITY OF MARINE SPECIES. WE PERMANENTLY CONTROL THE FISHING QUOTAS AND CALENDARS IMPOSED BY EACH PROVINCE.

We reduce the impact of our activity on the environment through the use of fishing techniques recommended by the authorities and competent bodies like MSC. We avoid catching protected species or small specimens as well as species other than the products we sell.
